like water for willy wonka?

I must admit I have never seen the movie Like water for Chocolate and have no idea what it could be about. I do know that Johnny Depp starred in it and that's about all folks. To tell you the truth it was the first thing that came in to my head. Well that is not entirely true. I do have some inkling of what the movie is about - sex, chocolate and an insatiable thirst for water that can only be quenched by Johnny Depp?? Am I close? Do I care? Probably no on both counts. Where am I going with this you ask?? The bottom line is this: the only connection I can muster is that I really liked Johnny Depp in Tim Burton's fantastic remake of Charlie and The chocolate Factory. Roald Dahl would have been very proud.
